Proverb 18:21 New American Standard Bible (NASB)21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.    22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing And obtains favor from the LORD.

Because of my childhood upbringing, I never wanted to get married until the teaching of God’s word cleanse, changed and purified my heart and way of thinking. I heard in my spirit years ago, that my marriage will be a "Marriage with a Mission." That created such a renewed desire within me to grab everything God has pre-planned for my life!

One night, November 2006, after falling on my knees at home in prayer, with open honesty and transparency before God, I cried out asking him to deliver me out of some things and asking Him if it’s His will, allow my husband and I to meet, so that he can become a protection over my life and a covering over this vocal music ministry. I asked God for a Jesus in flesh! See, I had become so lonely after being a caregiver for my dad who passed away in 2004 and Satan really use the pain of that with an attempt to try and devour my soul, but I’m so glad my God knows the desires and intentions of my heart! {Scripture ref.: I Chronicles 28:9}

"When what we speak from our mouths, match what God sees within our hearts, then and only then shall we see the fruits and manifestation of our honest prayers from our spoken words! {Scripture ref.: Matthew 12: 33-35} We gotta keep it real with God, so He can help us, says KB!"

I unknowingly met Don at World Covenant Christian Center back in February 2007 at a Valentine's Day event, but never thought he would be my husband, because my focus was totally upon God during that time to receive His deliverance, healing, cleansing within my heart and clearing my thinking. I was not looking for a man nor a husband; furthermore, I had never noticed nor seen him around the church prior to the event. God knows how to preserve you for His appointed time! {Scripture ref.: Habakkuk 2:3-4} I felt that for 2 months the Holy Spirit was doing some behind the scenes works, research, giving me instructions, and guiding our interactions with each other.  One night, in the church parking lot, Don openly told me everything about his past as an “OG” and I told him that I had a past too, but since we both are now saved, minds renewed, changed and transformed thru the word of God we can talk. The very first date Don asked and took me on was April 1, 2007 and I felt like I had known this man all my life! I felt safe, secure, protected, well treated, God's peace surrounded me, and I just felt like I belonged there with him. I knew it was God’s supernatural hookup, because it was shortly after that date the Holy Spirit gave me the okay to accept him. Don and I were married on May 29, 2008 and it was truly built upon God’s AGAPE [unconditional love], that still stands today within our lives. Praise God!

Thinking back as a single woman, while attending single's meeting in church conferences, I had a written list back in the day of everything I wanted in the man whom I agree to marry and I would take it into prayer and make spiritual confessions over it. Well, supernaturally, God has blessed me with 98% on that list and now Don and I are establishing the remaining 2% together! I could not have picked a better person for myself and neither did Don! {Scripture ref.: Ephesians 3:20}

God did that for us and "I Love Me Some We!"

Someone viewing my website needs to hear my story right now… this is living ministry! Did you know that Satan hates unity? Satan hates women who is the channel by which life enters, and Satan perverts anything that he did not originally create; therefore, marriage being a blessed, ordained institution by our God between man and woman; can get challenging, but trust in God, work it and ENDURE {if it’s not threatening your life}!

I’m so thankful to God for Don, because of his strength, having a personal relationship with God, being a humble man who serves others and one who not only studies the word, but can recall practically every scripture in the whole bible! Don teaches and takes you thru the word of God to experience the history and bring it into today! Almost a year after marriage, I became ill in 2009 after a medical procedure and was involved in an auto incident all of which afflicted my immune system and caused me to develop disabling impairments with Fibromyalgia and sever vertigo, resulting in the need of assistive mobility devices. This was a shocker for us, because Don unexpectedly became my caregiver for the past 7 years, transporting me to the doctors, cooking, cleaning, bathing and dressing me, doing all the chores, [or he/she roles], etc., in addition to working, beginning college, traveling back and forth to Nassau Bahamas to deal with his mother’s health challenges prior to her passing in 2015, and he still served faithfully in ministry! Wow! My hero! My mighty man of valor, after God’s own heart, whom I consistently cover with prayer under the blood of Jesus! {Scripture ref.: Proverbs 28:20 New American Standard Bible (NASB)... A faithful man will abound with blessings …”}

Life happens and it challenges you to give up, give in and quit, but people of faith “Rise up” during pressure and find a way to overcome and keep on living! Having all this pressure come upon us, we had every opportunity to divorce, fight, quit, cuss, lean to others for comfort, etc., but we pressed thru it and chose life thru standing upon the word of God as we executed our Faith-works battling diverse forces that came against us and our marriage from every direction. Work the word, because the power that comes out of it is for warfare, so you can win! {Scripture ref.: I Peter 1:5-6}

Minister Don, an ARMY veteran, husband, college student, father, DGS employee, who currently and faithfully serves at Divine Faith Ministries Intl., McDonough/Stockbridge campus under the leadership of Bishop Donald Battle; as a full Ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Thank you, Don, my husband, my sweetie, my friend for your AGAPE love towards me, and for being a giver and not a taker, and for sticking with me thru illness for these wonderful 8 years in 2016. We have fought the good fight of faith, endured great hardships to withstand life challenges, seen family and friends turn away, have been at our lowest points economically, yet still full of love and contentment in our marriage {Scripture ref.: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18}. BUT, the fruits revealed is that we still experience so many wonderful things in life together [debt free home, cars, healing process, development of business, travel over the world, peace, favor with God and with man, etc.,] during this short time being married and the best is yet to come; fluidly, uprising and bringing in our harvested abundance of God's divine, over flowing, supernatural favor!

This is our season where our gifts are being exposed to promote God's kingdom building where he has planted us! Today, Minister Don and I are active in ministry, traveling and evangelizing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ thru the anointed teaching and vocal music from the word of God!

I AGAPE you, Don!
