Karen-Brandee “KB” is a force of nature. She is a spiritual interpreter of the Word through the gift of song- a singer, songwriter and publisher of great passion who is sharing her abundant gifts with the world. An Atlanta native, KB has a God-breathed spiritual enthusiasm that has the power to heal, uplift and bless others. Her life is a testimony that documents one victory over adversity after another.

A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman–who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls.Proverbs 31:10 (AMP)

Williams- E37 Photography 88KB’s heightened awareness of God’s calling upon her life was revealed as a teenager. She participated in diverse choruses where she was found to be a lead soloist and later discovered when she joined the choir at Central Holiness Church of Deliverance in Atlanta. While she possessed a quiet strength, whenever she opened her mouth to sing the Spirit took control. Her bold, impassioned delivery would shake the very core of her audiences’ souls leaving them spellbound. She stayed the holy course singing in a plethora of church choirs where she received broad recognition and has continued to nurture her talents over the years. KB has effortlessly become the go-to vocalist for non-profits and church services including weddings, home-goings, conferences, special occasion events and private retreats.

Always one to put her heart where her mouth is, KB has taken her missionary efforts to the streets. Over the years, she has ministered to hundreds of homeless men, women and children, as well as senior citizens, sick and shut-ins and incarcerated youth. In 2008, KB recorded a 5-track cd entitled Uncut that made an impactful impression on her musical ministry. The stylistic masterpiece blended traditional gospel hues, including the remake of the classic Dottie Rambo hymn, “He Looked Beyond My Faults,” as well as an original contemporary single, “Good Measure” produced by Grammy-Winning hip-hop and R&B producer Zaytoven. Her operatic vocals expressed the rawness of heartfelt human emotions such as fear, faith, love, courage and the desire for deliverance. Her aim was to create positive impactful change, which she did.

The following year, the vocal powerhouse’s life was disrupted when she was diagnosed with debilitating illnesses of Fibromyalgia, severe vertigo and depression. Instead of shrinking in the face of opposition, the warrior within arose to fight the good fight of the faith. Through spending intimate time in God’s presence, KB was inspired to pursue music fulltime and has been rewarded for her obedience. In the process of writing and recording new material, KB was introduced into politics where she felt she could be instrumental in spreading the messages of hope, unity and fellowship from inside the system. However she quickly discovered the work was far more plentiful “in the field” and decided to focus on her true passions.WilliamsSpots 72new

Her gift of praise and worship has amassed a large and loyal following, which has carried her to churches both small and large, as well as near and far. From humble beginnings to performing before a congregation of over 10,000 members at Dr. Creflo Dollar’s World Changes Church International in College Park, KB has served in the choir and on the praise team. She has been the lead vocalist at Dr. Joseph M. Ripley’s The Body of Christ Church International in Union City, with Jason Bitten’s Bahgee band. It was at World Covenant Christian Center in Conyers, GA where Pastors Reginald and Wanta’ Ezell were instrumental in investing in her single CD project towards her career. Their belief in KB’s talents broadened her professional vision, which became the catalyst for her current ministry-career success. Additionally, she has performed as a rising recording artist at Reverend Dr. William E. Flippen’s Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta. This is where the anointed power of God was released thru her voice of worship, which allowed her to touch and agree with over 60 members for their spiritual walk of obedience and healing.

KB has also received invitations to sing abroad in the Bahamas, from the renowned Evangelistic Temple Assembly of God in Nassau with Sr. Pastor Vaughan L. Cash, to Pastor Mario Moxey’s Bahamas Harvest Church. KB had the distinct honor of singing several times at Bahamas Faith Ministries International prior to the passing of the late Dr. Myles Munroe. She has since been welcomed under the church’s new pastoral leadership of Pastors Dave and Angie Burrows, where she maintains a platform. KB has enjoyed the celebrity of her name while in the Bahamas, being invited as a guest on ZNS Radio with Minister Sharese where she discussed her thriving music career. KB has also appeared and was featured several times in 2005 on her local WATC Atlanta Live TV57 network ministering several songs to the viewing audiences. Although her presence is demanded throughout the world, KB faithfully attends Bishop Donald Battle’s Divine Faith Ministries International. She has been the sole volunteer soloist for almost 3 years at the Stockbridge/McDonough campus and is now branching out as a new recording artist.

A modern day superwoman, being the best woman she can be through Christ; KB balances her artistry and business acumen with her faith in God. She faithfully uses her vocal gifts to inspire persons with disabilities, encouraging them to “focus on what you Can Do and not what you can’t." She also inspires them to keep living no matter what. Blessed with an extraordinary combination of singing and speaking the Word with poignant Glory, despite her painful disabling condition, KB is truly an anointed spirit whose voice is an instrument of love.
